Inside Sales Engineer

Overview
This is a full-time on-site position. The Inside Sales Engineers primary focus at Electronauts is Estimation & Quotation.
Key Responsibilities
• Enter BOM requirements cost and time estimates for customer projects and assemblies.
• Work with the production department during the build phase of the projects to provide efficient and timely solutions to problems.
• Collaborate with sales dept, customers and external vendors to address project requirements, specifications, and performance objectives.
• Position will be required to process all orders through ERP system and Salesforce.
• Responsible for day-to-day decisions related to pricing and overall customer care within the company's established parameters
• Coordinate and communicate regularly with salesperson to fully develop accounts
• Interaction with customers on-site may be required at times
• Will need a comprehensive understanding of materials as is relates to electrical control panel materials that may include UL but are not limited to
• Position is bound primarily to a standard office desk station.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales or purchasing specifically with the electrical systems and components
• Experience working with industrial control panels, cables, or cable harnesses is preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret wiring schematics, mechanical drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and technical reports.
• Ability to effectively present information to management and to communicate with internal and external customers clearly and effectively, in both verbal and written communication.
• Working knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (UL 508A, CUL, CE).
• Proficient with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical
• superior problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in multi-tasking and adhering to strict deadlines.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation aptitude.
• Prior experience in electrical estimation and contractor project quoting.
• Detail-oriented mindset.
• Commitment & Drive and should demonstrate a proactive approach and, when faced with pressing deadlines.
