Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards. The role involves monitoring manufacturing processes, identifying defects, and working closely with production teams to maintain high-quality outputs.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor production processes and perform in-process inspections to ensure adherence to standards.
• Reads and interprets the jobs schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, etc. to determine material requirements and assembly instructions

• Conduct product testing (physical or visual) according to defined quality criteria.
• Record and report inspection and test results using company databases or QC logs.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials or products and communicate findings to relevant teams.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of test results and inspections.
• Participate in internal quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety and compliance regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Required Skills
• Attention to detail: Ability to spot defects or irregularities.
• Technical knowledge: Understanding of testing methodologies, equipment, and industry standards.
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify issues and suggest solutions.
• Communication skills: Effective verbal and written communication with teams across the organization.
• Basic computer skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office, data entry, and possibly specialized QC software
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical field may be preferred).
• Certification in quality control or related disciplines (e.g., ISO standards, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (1-2 years preferred).
• Familiarity with quality inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP).
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity to handle small parts and use testing equipment.
• Ability to lift [50] pounds as needed.
